School Visits:

Thank you so much for your interest in bringing me to your school to
speak! Visiting schools is one of my favorite parts of being an author, and
with three children of my own, I know how important it is to supplement their
curriculum with interesting, out-of-the box experiences. That’s where I come in!
I offer presentations for grades 3-6 that focus on my day-to-day life
as an author, writing tips/techniques students can apply to their own projects,
& fun behind-the-scenes publishing facts! I also come prepared with screenshots
of my own research, drafting, and revising phases so students see firsthand how
similar the role of an author is to what they do everyday as students.
I always walk away school visits with a smile on my face and based on the
letters I receive throughout the year, I believe the students and teachers do too. For more information on my rates, or to speak with me regarding scheduling a visit, check out my school visits page and download a brochure here: https://www.lindsaycurrie.com/school-visits.
